The mighty DJ Format is coming to Glasgow and he's bringing his records out to play! Funk, soul, old school hip hop, latin, rock... some of the best records you'll ever hear, all on 45, and all put together in his inimitable style.
Format found mainstream success with his first LP, Music for the Mature B-Boy, in 2003, and last year released his fourth record, The Foremost, with Phil Most Chill. He has toured with Jurassic 5 and DJ Shadow, as well as worldwide solo tours, and triumphant appearances at the Reading & Leeds festivals. He has recorded prestigious mixes for Fabriclive and the Fania label, the latter seeing him applying his b-boy style to latin soul and boogaloo records.
Only his second Glasgow show in 7 years, don't sleep!
