Festa: Pooches in the Pool

August 26 is National Dog Day, and what better way to celebrate than by letting our four-legged canine friends take a dip in the Teach Pool to help beat the summer heat! For this Members only event, RGC Members are invited to bring their dogs to cool off in the pool, have fun in our dog-themed photo booth, and make new friends! One (1) handler 18 years of age or older per dog is required, but feel free to bring along the kids so they can enjoy the event, too! Humans will not be permitted in the pool during the event and we ask that you please BYOB (bring your own (water) bowl) to fill up with drinking water for your dog.

This event will be followed up by our annual deep cleaning and maintenance of the pools until September 9, 2017.

1-2pm - Small dogs (44lbs or under*)
2:15-3:15 - All dogs (any size)
3:30-4:30 - Large logs (45lbs or greater*)
*or entry may be based on the discretion of RGC staff

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Edmonton Humane Society.

We ask that dogs who are in heat, are aggressive, have a communicable illness, or under three months of age do not attend this event.
