Growing up with parents immersed in the arts, it was only a matter of time before Ilya developed his own love and curiosity for arts and culture. With a natural inclination towards music and an eclectic taste for the range of genres it had to offer, Ilya took his first step into the music world. At age 17 he joined a South Florida rock group, “Fall That Far”. Immediately, Ilya’s natural knack for promotion and marketing kicked in and he was able to book the up and coming rock group into every venue from Miami to Palm Beach. Ilya’s success with “Fall That Far” lead him to another opportunity in the music scene, working as a Production Manager for a number of other South Florida groups. Ilya toured the country, handling everything from venue selection and show promotion to creating singles to sell on the tour. As Ilya’s knowledge and experience in the industry grew, so did his passion for the craft. With endless research of underground bands, producers and performers, Ilya’s music library quickly grew into an extensive and diverse mix and he began his foray into becoming a DJ. He crafted unique playlists that quickly grabbed the attention of local party goers and his popularity grew. Ilya’s first DJ performance was in March of 2011 when he surprised 300 guests at his own birthday party. Soon after, he was booked as a DJ at several Florida clubs and private parties, most recently performing at South Florida’s music festival, SunFest, where he performed alongside some of today’s biggest music names such as PitBull, the Fray and Wiz Khalifa. Ilya held an ongoing residency at South Floridas elite Blue Martini lounge, as well as venues like Monarchy Nightclub, Dr. Feel Goods, Dirty Martini, Respectables Street, Hullaballoo, KYI and many others. Ilya's love for the arts lead him to join Young Friends Of The Norton as a sponsor and a resident DJ, 2 years in a row. When not mixing records Ilya spends his time as a manager at Camelot Yacht Club, and consultant for verious other properties. As Ilya is always expanding his horizons, he will be constantly moving forward with DJing and production, as well as exploring new genres and reworking classics.
