Festa: "Dream a Little Dream of Me" with Alexis Gordon, Andres Sierra and Special Guest Marcus Nance at Jazz Bistro!

ALEXIS GORDON is a theatre actor based in Toronto. Recent theatre credits include: Iris, in the world premiere of The Gravitational Pull of Bernice Trimble (Factory Theatre & Obsidian Theatre Company), Obeah Opera (Nightwood Theatre), Recurring John, Paradises Lost (Toronto’s SummerWorks Festival), Canada Sings, Godspell (Victoria Petrolia Playhouse), and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Driftwood Theatre). Alexis was the inaugural female winner of the “Syd and Shirley Banks Prize for Emerging Artists” in the 2012/2013 season with Acting Up Stage Theatre Company, and is a graduate of the Acting program at The University of Windsor.

ANDRES SIERRA is a highly talented Toronto based Singer, Actor and Dancer. Born in Toronto to Colombian immigrant parents, Andres displayed an interest in music at a very young age and was determined to fulfill his dream of becoming a successful International Pop Recording Artist. Coming from highly musical family, Andres’s father took notice of his son’s natural abilities and enrolled him in professional vocal and piano lessons at the age of 5 at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Andres also attended Cardinal Carter High School for the Arts, and continued his education at Sheridan College, in the prestigious Music Theatre Program. His singing style fuses many different musical elements to create a unique, smooth cutting edge sound unlike no other.

MARCUS NANCE has captivated audiences across Canada and the United States with his magnetic stage presence and lustrous bass-baritone voice. He is equally at home in theatre, opera, concert, and cabaret while setting the highest standards in each, vocally and theatrically. The New York Times described him as “a thrillingly powerful bass-baritone”, Backstage NY says he “has a bass that flows like melted butter” and the New York Post says his “bass voice resonates with silky menace”.

TARA LITVACK will accompany the performers.
