Performing in Melbourne for the 1st time in 5 years, Griffin (SYD) is returning to the first Melbourne Jazz club he performed whilst in town playing 2012 Melbourne international Jazz festival. Since then Griffin has been making a name for himself worldwide after being a Semifinalist at the 2013 Thelonious Monk International Saxophone competition. A competition that included Ben Van Gelder, Melissa Aldana, Tivon Pennicott, Braxton Cook and many others. Griffin also spent time playing in New York.

He has also sinced released his first album "Unexpected Greeting" (ABC), been nominated for a Bell Award for Young Australian Jazz artist of the year and featured in Downbeat Magazine (USA).
