We are really pleased to have Detroit legend and member of the esteemed Three Chairs alongside Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittman & KDJ + Rick Wilhite. we are equally happy to unveil for the very 1st time Portable's new live outfit - RANGEr who will be giving us a debut performance as a precursor to the great forthcoming ep on Waella's Choice.

Rick Wilhite
For over 30 years, Rick Wilhite has been a staple of the underground music scene in Detroit. As a DJ in the 80’s, Wilhite dazzled crowds with his soulful DJ sets, mixing his passion for house, disco, techno, and any other genre that fit his fancy. He’s also responsible for some of the most gorgeous house tracks of the past 20 years through releases on Kenny Dixon Jr.’s label KDJ, and his recent relationship with Rush Hour Records ensuring his sound and message hits an entirely new generation of avid listeners. His 'Vibes New & Rare music' record store has been the main source for soulful electronic music in Detroit until its closure some years back.

Portable presents RANGer
Portable has been actively working as a live performer in Europe and worldwide
with releases for labels such as Context, Perlon, Live @ Robert Johnson, Süd Electronic and much more. Constantly moving and seeking new ways of expression, we will now be entering a new phase with him with his RANGEr project which will see him performing with a percussionist as well as a bass player with him on electronics and beyond.

as usual, we will be contributing musical as well on the night.
