Céilí by the Lee is a weekly event teaching some of the essentials of Irish life: traditional dancing, and understanding men with thick accents. Benjamin Franklin once said "Only three things in life are certain: death, taxes, and the craic at Céilí by the Lee"
Join us as our MC guides you through the basic steps, before combining them into more complex dances. Sieges will be laid and lifted, bridges crossed and bonfires burnt. All are welcome, including beginners and solo dancers.
A great way to make new friends, experience traditional Irish culture, learn to dance and get fit!
We meet every Monday at 8pm on the spacious dance floor in Crane Lane, which is also a great place to sample some of Cork's finest beers!
