This 20 piece community big band is comprised of musicians who have the common goal of keeping big band music live in Brisbane and surrounding districts. Formed in 1996 under music director Ken Lincoln, the band features soloists and vocalists depicting big band music from the 20th Century to today. Their 'In the Groove' CD series has been very popular, receiving wonderful accolades through ABC Radio.
