Festa: PILOT + Guests at 24 Moons

PILOT is an instrumental jazz fusion band from Melbourne, Australia.

Formed in 2014, their self-­titled, independently released debut EP features five tracks ranging from their trademark jazz-­infused rock style through to forays into instrumental, piano-­based hip hop and beyond. Throughout, the tight
grooves of Josh Koop (drums) and Jack Davies (bass) underpin the soaring synths of Liam Butler Webb and Brenton Foster (keyboards) and the lead work of Kumar Shome (guitar) and Richard Butler (saxophone).

In their short career, PILOT have performed two packed residencies at the acclaimed Bennetts Lane Jazz Club and been featured on radio and blogs in Australia, France and the USA. The band has recently been invited to perform at the Bucharest International Jazz Competition, held in Bucharest, Romania in May 2015.

PILOT have released three studio videos, for singles ‘Black Jack’,
‘Remember September’ and 'Up Late'.
