Open Decks!

We here at Transit have decided to continue the holiday cheer and bring back the cold turkey sets! Want to play out your new tunes on a bigger sound system? Now is your chance! For our first Transit of 2018 we have decided to “give” back to our fans. On January 3rd, 2018 we will be hosting an open decks night, first come first served with a signup sheet at the beginning of the evening. DJ’s will also be judged for a future main slot at transit. The sets will be evaluated on the following aspects: mixing, track selection, crowd response and attendance. Come one come all on January 3rd, 2018 for a chance to show us what you got; bring the heat and beat the cold!

Sorry, anyone who has recently played or is booked in the upcoming months is ineligible. We will have CDJ 2000's linked for our setup, if you prefer to use a laptop/controller, that's fine, but you'll need to bring at least 6' RCA's to get to our mixer.

9:45-10:30 Open Decks (must sign up)
10:30-11:15 Open Decks (must sig nup)
11:15-12:45 Madhouse [Give Productions]
12:45-1:30 Open Decks (must sign up)

TRANSIT is a FREE weekly Wednesday party bringing the best of underground EDM to Northern Virginia with DJ's and music genres that change every week.

Give Productions started TRANSIT in the spring of 2004 to bring a taste of downtown nightlife to the suburbs, and to provide opportunity for new and up and coming DJs.
