San Diego, California – July 10, 2015 –The American Comedy Co. is thrilled to present The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail live in the heart of Gaslamp. The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail began in Los Angeles in October of 2010. It's hosted by Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani and produced by Emily V. Gordon. Sure, it takes place in the back room of a comic book shop. Sure, it draws some of the best comedians in the world every single week. Sure, the show has gotten a ton of press and was recently named one of the best places to see comedy by LA Weekly, LA Times, Vulture, and Hollywood Reporter. And sure, we’re in the second season of the TV version of our show on Comedy Central (premiering June 30th) that Ben Stiller’s Red Hour produces. But the real magic is in our hosts, Jonah and Kumail. Their weird, hypnotic, hilarious relationship will draw you in and make you feel like part of our family. But you should come for all the reasons above. Jonah and Kumail will host their popular show for one night only July 10th, 2015, at 7:30pm.
