At Swing Patrol Newtown, we have a special class for you helping you to understand the Lindy Hop based on history.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
The 'classic' jazz music era stretched from the 20s all the way to the 50s, Peopled moved and danced to the different styles of music. As the music styles evolved, so did the dance.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Starting in the 1920s we will be linking the different key elements.
1. Culture
2. Music
3. Dance
and we will move through key stages to show you how the lindy hop became the fantastic dance that we all love.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This class is for all intermediate/advanced dancers that can handle a fast learning style and lots of dancing.
