Barcelona based producers/DJs and visual artists, Sinjin Hawke and Zora Jones, have long since solidified their place in the underground elite. As a duo, they have created and championed their audiovisual platform, FRACTAL FANTASY, which has released music from the likes of MikeQ, L-Vis 1990, DJ Taye and Sinjin and Zora themselves.As an individual artist, Sinjin Hawke’s strong technicolor sound has led him through a myriad of different spaces within the electronic music landscape. Over 4 years he went from releasing on beloved staple Pelican Fly to working with Just Blaze to co-producing a track for Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo. His most recent contribution and first full-length album of his career, First Opus, has exploded in the online music community, quickly quoted by many as an early contender for album of the year. Zora Jones on the other hand, although having less official releases under her belt, has made a similarly strong impact with her beloved DJ sets and metallic and bright take on 160 music.Together the two create experience-evoking sounds and sets treading somewhere between the unfamiliarity of a digitally-based VR domain and the comfort and warmth of our own planet. A rare chance for North America, this elusive duo’s 2017 tour will be a show to remember.
