"ILK is a band with taiko at its heart.

ILK comes from the rhythms of Georgie McGeown (Sound of Yell) and Alison Roe (2taiko). With Jer Reid (sumshapes, Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra etc.) on guitar (the three had met playing in Issho Taiko Drummers), Ali Begbie (sumshapes) on bass and Rafe Fitzpatrick (Alasdair Roberts, Sound of Yell etc.) on violin."
