Festa: Club Trip Planning Night

The purpose of this event is to identify where you as a club would like to go this year and see who else wants to go with you. If there is sufficient interest in the idea of a trip to a location, a trip may be organised.

The detailed planning will be undertaken out with the planning evening.

Don’t worry if you haven’t organised a trip before, or don’t want to this is not a detailed planning section just a lead discussion to considering dates, interest and locations for trips in 2018 where you would like to go. Opening it up to the branch as a whole.

So if you want a say, have an idea of a trip or have always wanted to dive some were, now is your chance.

May be you want to go to Swanage pier, isle of weight out of Lymington, Weymouth, the Normandy coast, lindy, Shetland or ice diving in the Russian white sea – the possibilities are endless.

The Trip & Expedition planning Night will be on Tuesday the 27th of February this gives a week for you to think up your dream locations. Start time 19:30 for a 19:45 start.

To kick the ball off this week a couple of UK and world map outlines will appear at the club for you to mark-up where you have already been (anonymously if you like, just a coloured dot in a location). Hope fully this will get you thinking / inspire your dive ambitions.

If you are doing your advanced diver this year may been this will be an opportunity to complete the expedition!!!
