Festa: Pant(s) - Jokes Please!
Início > Jokes Please > Pant(s) - Jokes Please!
Jokes Please! is an award-winning stand-up comedy show that happens every Thurday at LMG.
Why are pants always plural? They’re not. Take the phrase “I have a stain on my pant leg.” Or, “Use that pant leg as a tourniquet to staunch the bleeding. NO not THAT pant leg, that one clashes with my iron-rich blood that is flowing freely from the inside of my salty body.”
You are not PUTTING ON YOUR PANTS. You are putting on one pant and then a second pant and then MAYBE at the end you are putting on your pants. Also, PANTING means to breath heavy but it’s also what you’re doing when you’re applying your leg garments (as long as they’re pants). Example: “Ready to go?” “Almost, just panting.”
