Jeffery Straker
Hailing from small-town Saskatchewan, singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist Jeffery Straker blends diverse folk, pop, and cabaret influences into a distinctive sound that has been compared to the likes of early Elton John, Sarah Slean, Ben Folds, and Harry Chapin. Performing over 100 shows per year in Canada, ranging from intimate club nights to sold-out concerts with symphony orchestras, and having recorded for CBC Radio's "Canada Live" and charted in the Top 10 on Much More Music Canada, Straker is now set to release his brand-new album North Star Falling. This rising star is definitely one to watch.
