Festa: Duke Chinese Dance 2016 Auditions

Duke Chinese Dance auditions are approaching, and if you have any interest in joining we would love for you to come out!

DCD is comprised of diverse individuals with a common passion for dance and sharing Chinese culture. We perform at many events throughout the Duke, Durham, and Triangle area and are open to people of all gender, race, age, or level of experience. Auditions will be located in The Ark on September 11th, from 6PM - 9PM. Plan on arriving 5 - 10 minutes early to stretch, warm up, and register. You will learn a short segment of a previous DCD dance in a large group, and then be recorded performing it in a small group.

Feel free to ask any DCD dancer any questions you might have. We will be performing in the Dance Council Showcase on September 1st so please come check us out there as well. And if you can't make our audition time, that's okay! Just contact Conrad Jeong or Amy Li via [email protected] to schedule a makeup session.

P.S. Wear clothes that allow you to dance easily and sweat. The Ark gets hot! :)
