Festa: Funny Women Fest

Funny Women Fest is a celebration of women in comedy benefitting Downtown Women's Center! Join us on November 30th - December 3rd, 2016, for Highland Park's newest block party comedy fest featuring over 400 performers in improv, sketch, stand-up storytelling, musical comedy, written pilots, short films, video shorts, and visual arts.

#FWFLA will feature live shows at The Hi Hat and Sonny's Hideaway, with original screenings at Highland Theater. On Satuday afternoon Dec. 3rd, Funny Women Fest will also offer 2 Industry Panels and an bazaar featuring female vendors selling clothing, art, and handmade goods.

Panel 1: 12:00-1:30 pm "Who's the Boss?"
How we can work together and do better, as women in entertainment, to advance ourselves and our peers? A conversation about building the best teams to work for and with, in an effort to execute product while raising each other up.

Panel 2: 2:00-3:30 pm "Content is Queen"
Content creation is ever evolving in the way it's bought and how it's digested. Where is the future of content headed, and how do we create for changing platforms and production styles.
