It's the first heat of the "Prove You're a Comic" Comedy Competition at Absolute Comedy!
Each week, nine of the top amateur comics in Toronto will compete on the Tuesday. The top five perform on the Wednesday and Thursday, and one finalist from each week will perform for a whole week in our finals (Aug 5-9). The winner of the finals week will win $500 and a week of paid shows at each Absolute Comedy location.
This week's competitors:
Billy Wiegand, Chris Robinson, Jason Gracey, Joe Vu, Leny Corrado, Max Hemmati, Sammy Farid, Silvi Santoso and Tom Calnan.
Hosting will be Monty Scott and closing off the show will be Mark Bennett!
