Festa: MY SECRET PLAYGROUND

My Secret Playground ist das originelle Konzept vom österreichischen Musiker und Produzenten Florian Herzberg. Unter dem Motto „rock meets dance floor“ vermischt der Bandleader seine Einflüsse aus Rock, Pop und Dance aus den 80´s bis heute ohne Scheu vor Stilbrüchen.
Im Mittelpunkt steht die Kombination vom elektronischen und akustischen Sound, sowohl im Studio als auch live wird dabei auf hand made music gesetzt.2008 erfolgte die Veröffentlichung der Ep "no excuses" (Flowing Records), die dank der Zusammenarbeit einer Vielzahl von befreundeten Musikern entstanden ist. Verschiedene weitere Produktionen wie Filmmusik oder Remixes, unter
anderem für Radiohead oder den Österreichischen Rundfunk, sah die Welt in den nachfolgenden
Jahren. Nach erfolgreicher Zeit mit seiner Wiener Band hat Florian neue Mitstreiter internationaler Herkunft in Berlin gefunden. Hier lebt er seit 2010 und lässt den Vibe dieser Metropole in jeder Hinsicht auf sich wirken. Neben My Secret Playground ist Florian als Keyboarder und
Schlagzeuger in vielen anderen Bands wie zion, beefcakesuckers, poetry club oder sridhar tätig. Im
Anschluss an die Deutschlandtournee zusammen mit der australischen band ME im März 2013 wird
noch diesen Sommer das lang erwartete Nachfolgealbum von MSP veröffentlicht.
My Secret Playground is an original concept by Austrian musician and producer Florian Herzberg.
Influenced by rock, pop and dance music from the 80’s till today, the bandleader compounds these
different styles under the motto “Rock meets dance floor” with no fear of crossing the boarders. The focus is on the combination of electronic and acoustic sound, during recordings as well as live gigs the emphasis is put on hand made music. EP “No Excuses” (by flowing records) was released 2008 thanks to a cooperation of a number of friend musicians. Various other projects like film score and remixes of Radiohead or for Austrian Broadcasting Corporation saw the world in the following years. After the successful time with his Vienna band, Florian has gathered a set of fellow musicians
from different countries in Berlin. He lives here since 2010 and allows this metropolis to affect him in every single way. Apart from My Secret Playground, Florian is involved as keyboarder and drummer in many other bands like Zion, Beefcakesuckers, Poetry Club or Sridhar. Following the Germany tour with the Australian band ME in March 2013, the next album by MSP is to be released
this summer.
