Join us Saturday January 13 for the next BC Swing Dance Club lesson and dance. We will be back to our usual start times for the workshops and dance. Please share this event invitation with your Facebook friends.

January begins a new year and it will be time to renew your membership ($15 for the year). Please allow some extra time to deal with that.

John Kirkconnell will teach an intermediate "Connectiom Through Movement" WCS workshop. John has been dancing for over 17 years and started right here at BC Swing Dance Club. John is one of the few Canadian Champion level competitors, and a 2 time US Open Finalist. His students love his playful personality and the connection he makes with the music.

The instructor for the beginner workshop is Ian Kirkconnell. Ian is a long-time Vancouver instructor who teaches ballroom, Latin and swing. Ian is known for great energy and a unique interactive teaching style. He constantly strives to improve his dance and bring to his students all the joy of dance he has known. You can see Ian competing, teaching, judging or being the master of ceremonies at the dance conventions throughout the west. Ian is a long-time member, and past President, of the BC Swing Dance Club.

Doors: 7:30 pm
Lesson: 8-9 pm
Social dance: 9-midnight

Lesson: $5 member / $7 non-member
Dance: $10 member / $13 non-member / $6 Valid Student ID
Under 16 FREE with paying adult
